Viewpoint is a vibrant exhibition of Landscapes, Still Life, and People in on canvas.
Every painting comes from a particular viewpoint but to see it is a collaborative event between artist and viewer.  Margo is interested in that conversation and the emotional effect a painting can have.
Margo’s paintings are figurative but with an abstract sensibility through which she hopes to bring something new; add another layer to their subjects. These range from urban landscapes of New York and London to a vase of yellow tulips.
Margo’s exhibition runs from Tuesday 23rd June to Saturday 4th July 11am-6pm,
Private View Tuesday 23rd June 6-8pm.
Having followed a career as a musician, songwriter and actress, Margo then studied Art at Putney School of Art where her passion for making art developed, in particular painting with oils.
Margo has exhibited as part of The Putney Group in Sprout Arts, at Camden Coffee House in Balham and as part of Wandsworth Artists’ Open House.
Five of her ‘Tooting Bec’ paintings are soon to be featured by London Transport Museum as a series of limited edition prints.

Monica Carvalho is a 23 year-old Swiss and Portuguese MA student living London. Her body of work consists, one the one hand, of a series of abstract watercolours, and on the other hand, of digital collages juxtaposing elements of the real world to create a more ‘surreal’ world. Inverted Landscapes explores the relationship between the human being and nature, with images that look both familiar and unexpected.
