Iain Selwyn-Reeves:

Born in the 70’s, Iain grew up in the Cotswolds and now lives and works in South West London with his wife and son.

From the moment he picked up his first camera, a Yashica Rangefinder, Iain has always loved photography, in particular urban landscapes.

His work combines photography and digital manipulation to create bold contemporary images of London landmarks. These images evolved from his long exposure photography, which explored how the city changes from day to night and how different colours transform a city landscape. Each image starts with a photograph, which is then digitally altered to create a unique take on an iconic vista. Expanding this theme he has created a new series of local landmarks, which feature recognisable locations around South West London.

Iain has for the past 4 years, participated in the annual Wandsworth Artists’ Open House event and his work has been featured in magazines and used for multi-media campaigns. This summer, Iain launched his ‘Local Icons’ series at the Streatham Arts Festival in conjunction with E&A Wates.

Amy Adams

Amy studied Photography at Manchester Metropolitan University gaining a First Class Honours degree and has also completed an MA at Goldsmiths.  She then worked in the film industry for six years as an assistant editor before returning to her first passion photography and starting her own business as a freelance photographer. Her work has been published in Time Out, been exhibited in a number of London Galleries and has been used for advertising and corporate campaigns.  She lives and works in Furzedown with her husband and two children.

Amy says:

'I have decided to focus on the familiar and recognizable landmarks of London. This is a departure for me as I often photograph people but have been inspired to look at London differently recently due to being commissioned to photograph several buildings.

My work involving images of London is my interpretation of a classic landscape warped and distorted into a new abstract form. I decided to photograph at night as then I could use the darkness to further enhance the painterly possibilities the London landscape offered me.'
